Process Overview:
A kinematic viscometer is a laboratory instrument used primarily for determining the kinematic viscosity of oils. By measuring the kinematic viscosity of liquids at various temperatures, it can evaluate their performance and lifespan under harsh/cold or hot environments, ensuring product reliability and safety. The instrument heats to a set temperature according to parameter settings and maintains that temperature steadily. Once thermal equilibrium is achieved, the sample is placed into the viscometer tube. The instrument automatically detects the sample's flow time and calculates the test results, followed by cleaning the viscometer tube to conclude the experiment.


On-Site Application Details:
Operation is relatively straightforward. Based on the sensor type provided by the customer, the instrument is pre-configured at the factory. Simply performing a basic self-tuning after installation achieves the desired control effect without needing manual adjustment of PID parameters. For subsequent batch equipment, all PID parameters can be pre-installed at the factory, significantly saving on-site tuning time.
